Celebrity Chef Eric Greenspan Shows How To Spice Up Quarantine Dishes
LOS ANGELES - After being quarantined for more than a month, man people say they're tired of recreating the same old recipes. Celebrity Chef Eric Greenspan shows you how to spice up your go-to quarantine dishes from the food you probably already have in your pantry and freezer.
Greenspan teamed up with 505 Southwestern to show us how to make some cheddar green chili biscuits live on Good Day LA! Here's the recipe:
505 southwestern Green Chile and Cheddar Biscuits (Serves 8)
1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
3 tablespoons ghee or softened butter
¼ cup greek yogurt
¼ cup milk
½ cup grated cheddar cheese
¼ cup 505 Southwestern green chile
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and black pepper. Slowly add the ghee and mix until a sandy consistency is reached. Add the yogurt, milk, cheddar cheese, and 505 Southwestern Green Chile and mix thoroughly. Form into 8 equal patties. Bake for 18 minutes. Let cool.
